Former Airman, joined 1141st in 1959 and rotated back to States in 1962. Member of Radio Relay unit; served at Station 13 Terminal and as member of Roving Maintenance Team, "C" Link.
Before semi-retirement, operated small Public Relations firm for 25 years, focusing on computer- and manufacturing-technologies.
I was stationed at Camp Guynemer from 1965 thru 1967 When we were kicked out and had to move to Brunnsum Holland. I work at the Radio relay Equipment Depot just outside the camp on the road to Orleans. Our building were just off the main road in the woods about 500 yards. The place is now an equestrain school. I have returned to Fountainbleau and Avon many times since then since I married a girl from Moret-Sur-Loing. The bowling Club was one of the big hangouts just outside of Casserne Laboisierre. I was thinking about Staff Sgt Jack Baldwin, Master Sargeant Schaffer (german Army) and a bunch of other good friend I had there. Anyone stationed there at that time can contact me at MGollotto@aol.com
